Why Cross Training for Cyclists

Here’s a quick video I did up an Alp the other day about the reasons why it’s important to do cross training at this time of year.  The tips are for beginners, although if you are an experienced cyclist then I’m hinting to you to ‘slow down’ do other sports for your own mental wellbeing at this time of year.

November/December is a tough month for cycling training and you’ve got a long way to go until next spring.  If you just ‘go by the book’ and actually take time out to do other sports for a month or so to get you through the worst time of year for cycling, you’ll be much fresher and motivated to get back to serious training again in the New Year!  Enjoy the 2 min video and the Alpine view:-)
